The Ultra is a safe and effective option for non-invasive skin rejuvenation and can treat multiple skin types, including darker skin tones.
It uses non-ablative fractional laser technology to create microscopic channels in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production and improving the skin’s overall texture and tone. We can tailor the Ultra treatments from a light lunchtime glow treatment to an intense corrective treatment or anywhere between. But, of course, the more aggressive the treatment, the more recovery is needed. But, even with that, the Ultra has significantly shorter downtime than its competitors. Remember, more intense treatments bring faster results.
Most patients report some redness that can last hours to 72 hours. From the microchannels created by the Ultra, your skin will have a dry sandpapery feel for a few days, and if you are treating AKs or SKs, there can be some microcrusting of the pigment.
