Just like you, Physician Skin Solutions loves to give back to our local community and support many charitable endeavors. This one, however, is bittersweet and hits way too close to home.
Most of you know our nurse, Kim Moffo, RN and her husband Dr. Dominique Moffo – they are a very big part of our team at PSS and are close personal friends of mine. Sadly, their family is now facing the fight of their lives, as their daughter Erin was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Christmas Eve, this past year. As you can imagine, their family was devastated and immediately began their relentless fight to save Erin.
When we heard the news, we immediately started thinking of ways we could help! Somebody mentioned that September is Leukemia Awareness Month, obviously we couldn’t wait that long to do anything so we decided to set-up a HOPE fund for Erin and kick off our fundraising now and continue through September. Your donation will help alleviate some of the burden and stress of the mounting medical bills facing Erin and her family.
