Susan joined Physician Skin Solutions in 2012 as one of our Medical Aestheticians and Certified Medical Laser Technicians. In 2015, she transitioned to the role of Practice Manager. Prior to Susan entering the field of Aesthetics six years ago, she worked in the corporate world focusing on business management and technology. Her experience in both worlds makes her a perfect fit for her role.
Nicole has been with Dr. Maltais before there even was a “Physician Skin Solutions” and then helped Dr. Maltais open her practice in 2007. Nicole was the long-time practice manager but left to pursue her dream of attending nursing school to obtain her RN license. After graduation, she returned to Physician Skin. Nicole originally split her time between Practice Management and injecting, but moved fully to the clinical side in 2015. She has a true passion for this industry and has a natural eye towards aesthetics. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, Kendall.
Sarah is a Registered Nurse and has been with Physician Skin Solutions since 2018. Her Caring and understanding nature brought her into the Medical field in 2005. Emergency medicine was her love for the first 12 years until she transitioned into Aesthetics because she found a passion in helping people feel good about themselves. Sarah is passionate about patients enjoying what they see in the mirror every day.
With a thirst for learning, Sarah is certified in Advanced Injectables with the completion of advanced, intensive, hands on training in BOTOX Cosmetics, DYSPORT and Dermal Fillers since 2017. The National Laser Institute in Medical Aesthetics also certifies Sarah for Platelet Rich Plasma in conjunction with Dermal Filler injections. Sarah also has her certification to perform lasers and is trained to perform PDO threads.
To help her clients achieve a more youthful appearance and to restore the structure that is lost over time, her very favorite procedure is to perform a full face restoration by building up the facial foundation and using a combination of Botox/Dysport, fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra) and PDO threads. In addition to being a skilled injector, Sarah also enjoys educating clients on Self Care such as skin care routines and facials as well as sun damage and how to restore their youthful skin.
With a passion for skincare and an artistic eye, it is no wonder that her patient following speaks volumes and is a great testimony to her principles. Sarah is truly exceptional and we are happy to have her as part of our team.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, yoga and shopping. Sarah has two dogs and a Sulcata tortoise named “Puppy”.
Alison received her Bachelor of Science and Nursing from Grand Canyon College in 1985. Her hospital-based career has been in Labor and Delivery and the Emergency Department.
Alison has been practicing aesthetics for over 20 years and has seen many changes in the field. She stays up to date by attending annual training courses in all areas of aesthetics.
She has worked as a corporate trainer for a multi-location medical spa where she created training programs and oversaw the growth and development of the clinical staff.
She developed one of the first training programs approved by the ARRA in 2005 and trained many health professionals in Arizona to meet ARRA standards. She has served as a local and national trainer for laser and professional skin care companies and has been consultant, advisor, and trainer to many med spa owners around the country.
Alison is a Laser Safety Officer, and has advanced training in many modalities of lasers, radio frequency, and aesthetic devices. She is a Master injector of Botox and cosmetic fillers, and she loves creating a more youthful yet natural look for her patients.
She currently practices aesthetic nursing in Arizona.
Jessica Sazdoff, MSPAS, PA-C, is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant with 17 years of clinical experience. She is an Arizona native who always knew healthcare was her calling. She began her medical career early as a Certified Nursing Assistant while attending High-School in Glendale, then while attending University of Arizona in Tucson, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Spanish.
Jessica attended A.T. Still University in Mesa AZ where she completed her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies, MSPAS. While in the Physician Assistant Program she was able to travel to Ghana and Belize during her clinical rotations first as a student and then later as a preceptor providing medical care to those in need. Jessica enjoyed the broad scope of practice that the ER and Urgent Care provided so for the first part of her career she worked primarily as the sole provider for a busy urgent care in an underserved community as well as in the Emergency Room.
After over a decade of practice in those specialties, Jessica branched out and ultimately found her happy place in the cosmetic dermatology world. Jessica is certified in laser therapies, advanced injectables and aesthetics since 2011. In 2020, Jessica was thrilled to join Dr Maltais and her team at Physician Skin Solutions.
Jessica has a special interest in safe injection techniques and a non-surgical approach to self-improvement. She stays current with continuing education in this specialty area of practice. She has extensive clinical experience and is proficient in procedural skills, medical therapies and diagnostics. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling, hiking, glamping and spending time with her husband and 6 year old daughter and friends. She has a Great Dane, Larry a Boxer, Jolene and a Desert Tortoise, Lilly.
Knowing from a young age she wanted to work in aesthetic medicine, Dr. Montag pursued a B.S. in microbiology at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude. Following this, she earned her Naturopathic Medical Degree from Sonoran University of Heath Sciences, where she graduated top of her class. Under the mentorship of Dr. Maltais, Montag received hands-on training, gaining an extensive background in toxins, fillers, plasma gel, PDO threads, and more. Outside of work, you can always find Dr. Montag practicing yoga, traveling, and investing time in her personal growth.
